SketchShelf

Last updated: May 10, 2026

SketchShelf is a family drawing archive app published by FutureProof Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and what SketchShelf does not collect.

Summary

SketchShelf does not require an account and does not operate a backend service for storing your drawings. Drawings, notes, and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Photos and Camera Access

SketchShelf can use your device camera so you can photograph artwork and save it into a family sketchbook. It can also import images that you choose from your device.

Captured and imported images are used only to provide the app’s local bookshelf and scrapbook experience. FutureProof Labs does not upload those images to its own servers.

Local Storage

SketchShelf stores drawing metadata, notes, favorites, and local image references on your device. On supported native builds, images are copied into app-managed local storage on the device.

Camera Roll Behavior

SketchShelf can optionally keep a copy of newly captured images in the device camera roll if the user enables that setting. The app-managed local copy remains the source of truth for the app experience.

Data Collection

Third-Party Services

The app may be distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information according to its own policies when you browse, install, or update apps. FutureProof Labs does not control Google Play data practices.

Children

SketchShelf is designed for family use. It is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through a FutureProof Labs backend service because the app does not require user accounts or cloud profiles for the MVP.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app’s features or data practices change. Updates will be posted at this page.
